Genius Event 2017: Yoga and Meditation



The topic which we chose for the art event is yoga and meditation. Yoga and meditation defines the spiritual activities performed for maintaining healthy mind and soul. We can acquire positive vibes with the help of yoga and meditation. 
It has also been proved scientifically that yoga and meditation enables us to make our body centered and free from anxiety. People in our country, Nepal, are still unaware about the advantages of yoga in our body. Some of the advantages of yoga and meditation are as follows:

-         keeps us stress free
-         increases positivity in life
-         improves metabolism
-         helps to think positively
-         helps to have a sound sleep
-         good concentration
-         improves communication
-         emotional stability



Therefore, in order to introduce people about yoga and meditation we have chosen this topic. We drew a Mandala which consists a flower in it for the main event. As we all know that, flowers bloom when the sun rises and folds when the sun sets. We want people to compare themselves as flower and yoga as the sun and adopt it in habit in order to maintain the healthy life.

In further events, we would also like to suggest the organizers to arrange some workshops related to yoga and meditation so that we will be able to learn about healthy habits and practices. We assure you our full participation and involvement in upcoming events.
